3016 4WD Shuttle

  I use my 3016 (gear)to clean up about 6 acres of trees that frequently fall due to drought/disease and for mowing and moving dirt/rocks. I am amazed at the power this tractor has. I bought a fork lift attachment and easily move around 20 in. diameter, 10ft. long hickory, oak, and ash logs. The shuttle is really handy. Even my wife likes it, although she doesn't normally "like" tractors, only the work I do with them. The dealer/Paul was very helpful and easy to work with. I recommend the Mahindra fully, and Giles Farm Equipment (about 50 miles from my home) and Paul the salesperson.

  Pros:
  Power, reliability, lifing capacity, ease of operation.

  Cons:
  None yet, and hoping for none ever. A small tool box could be mounted behind the seat and would make a nice option.

  BOUGHT THE 3016 SHUTTLE JULY 2011. I IMMEDIATLY PUT IT TO WORK. EVERYTHING FROM MOVING DIRT,HAULING THREE QUATER TON OF FEED ON FEED WAGON ,UNLOADING 1200 POUND OF FEED OF TRACTOR TRAILERS,I AM SURE IT WILL DO JUST FINE WHEN TIME COMES TO DISC HARROW. I ONLY OWNED IT ONE MONTH, BUT I AM GLAD I MADE THIS PURCHASE. ALL CONTROLS ON THIS TRACTOR ARE IN THE RIGHT LOCATION FOR EFFORTLESS OPERATION

  the 3016 shuttle is a good tractor especially if your trying to work an area with alot of trees an tight spaces.dont underestimate the power of this compact tractor,i did at first an was very supprised...

  kabota couldnt touch the warranty an the same size tractor was weaker than the mahindra

  So far I love my tractor with loader. Ive got around 6 acres of yard grass to keep mowed and about 25 acres of pasture that I bush hog a few times a year. I hardly ever hear the engine bog and I mow some pretty thick stuff. I previously owned a tractor (much older) in the 48hp PTO range, so I was a little worried about power moving down. It is noticeable a little honestly but not so much that it makes a dramatic difference. Oh and if you are worried about using the shuttle, if you have ever used a gear drive tractor, shuttle is like eating cake and ice cream. I didnt go with hydrostatic only because I wasnt sure if I needed it, and I didnt. You may find that you desire hydrostatic, I tested it out and it did fine, I just prefer shuttle. I believe if you are a landowner in the 5-10 acre range, plant food plots, do landscaping projects of any size, this tractor beats the rest. I started out looking at John Deere and Kubota, you see where I ended up. Do not pass your mahindra dealership when shopping for a tractor. Try one out, I guarantee you will like it.

  finance plans, kind of hard to get to oil dipstick (especially if loader is on), needs a toolbox (dont go cheap mahindra),
